Michel Pereira set to earn two post-fight bonuses after Sanchez fight
UFC veteran Diego Sanchez (29-12) is going to share the Octagon with entertaining Brazilian Michel Pereira (23-10) this Saturday and has already said he’s not going to accept the fight if his opponent misses weight.
Pereira guarantees his weight is all right and Sanchez has nothing to worry about. Michel even thinks his opponent tries to make excuses to deal with his fear.
“He’s afraid to fight me because he knows I’m well prepared this time. That’s just him trying to hide behind the weight. I’ve fixed my mistakes and I will make weight,” Pereira said.
The Brazilian plans to not only secure a finish but even get two post-fight bonuses and earn plus $100K to his bank account.
“We will win the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus and I’ll get one for the best knockout. It’s going to be a great fight. We’ll make sure fans from the whole world talk about this fight. This match-up is way better (than Connelly) because we’re both aggressive fighters. MMA fans will love this. It’s gonna be a war.”
Sanchez vs. Pereira fight will be the co-main event of the UFC Fight Night 167 that’s taking place in Rio-Rancho tomorrow night.
