Three title fights to headline Cage Warriors 111
The UFC is not the only promotion that ends the year with three title fights. Cage Warriors will do the same this year. Cage Warriors 111 is going to take place at the O2 Arena in London this Friday and will be headlined by three title fights in the middleweight, featherweight, and light heavyweight divisions.
In the main event of the night middleweight champion James Webb (6-1-1) will have a rematch against Nathias Frederick (7-2-1). Their first fight took place at the Cage Warriors 106 in June and ended up with a majority draw.
Two more fighters that had earned championship belts at the CW 106 will perform at the event. Mads Burnell from Denmark (12-3), former UFC fighter, became the featherweight champion after he submitted Dean Trueman with the rarest hold called “Japanese necktie”. He will face Steve Aimable (14-5) in his first title defense.
Lithuanian Modestas Bukauskas (9-2) who represents England, will have his first light heavyweight title defense against Italian fighter Riccardo Nosiglia (8-1).
