Tito Ortiz invites President Trump to his next fight
Former UFC champion Tito Ortiz (20-12-1) has already announced his retirement but he still can’t say goodbye to his favorite sport. So, we’ll see him again in the cage under the Combate Americas banner on December 7.
Talking to TMZ journalists, Ortiz told about warm relationships with current USA president Donald Trump and his family, as well as invited Mr. President to his next fight.
“I worked for Trump-senior, I worked for the president, I worked for him for The Celebrity Apprentice in 2005. I met them back in 2002. I remember when Eric was like 14 years old and I autographed his shirt. They’ve always been fans. Donald-junior and Eric went to my fight back in 2008 when I fought Lyoto Machida. I’m a huge supporter of our president.”
“Donald Trump, I invite you, please to come to my fight. Donald-junior and Eric, you, guys, were at one of them, come again. I guarantee this time we’re getting a knockout,” Ortiz said.
Ortiz’s next opponent is 42-year-old Mexican vet Alberto Rodriguez. The fight will take place in Hidalgo, Texas, on December 7.
