Odious Russian heavyweight Aleksander Emelianenko (28-7-1) called out another Russian Alexander Shlemenko (59-13, 1 NC) for a boxing match.
“Well, hello, good people. I stumbled upon February article where Shlemenko says that people made a myth of the unbeatable of me. Come out and we’ll fight. Even before my fight with Koklyaev you were going to go to the ring with me, was ready to replace him if he injured. Well, come on, Sasha, if you’re not a pu***, we’ll fight by boxing rules. I will beat you. With pleasure,” Emelianenko said.
Shlemenko’s response was quick and the middleweight is ready to fight but by MMA rules.
“I was pleasantly surprised by Emelianenko’s callout because it is me whom he called out. Usually he says that everyone wants to call out Emelianenko. And here he showed who he wants to fight. Actually, Emelianenko vs. Shlemenko is a big headline. We can meet, no problem. It all depends on the offer,” Shlemenko said.
Aleksander Emelianenko had his last fight last November when he knocked out Mikhail Koklyaev in a boxing match. Alexander Shlemenko won his last fight against David Branch by submission at the RCC 7 in December.
