Conor McGregor called Tyson Fury the greatest heavyweight boxer of our era

Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Conor McGregor (21-4) gave full marks to the former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury (27-0-1, 19 KO).

This weekend Fury’s coming back to the ring. He will face Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas event. The victory may bring him as close as possible to a rematch with Deontay Wilder. Of course, to make that happen, Wilder himself has to pass through Luis Ortiz.

Conor McGregor gave support to his Irish colleague by commenting Tyson Fury’s video from training in Twitter.

“This is what fully committed pad work looks like. Amazing!
Welcome to The Mac Life “Gypsy King” Tyson Fury!
Leading the game from all angles. Enjoy Sin city my man we are not here for a long time, we are here for a good time.  Atta boy Tyson,
The number 1 HW boxer of this era.”

Conor McGregor hasn’t entered the Octagon for almost nine months after being defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov at the UFC 229. UFC president Dana White states that McGregor is waiting for the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Dustin Poirier fight first to plan his comeback.
