Conor McGregor to Kelvin Gastelum: "Why is that worm holding the 185lb belt? There are worms crawling on his skin!"

UFC middleweight title contender Kelvin Gastelum had to fight for a belt against champion Robert Whittaker at UFC 234 today, but Whittaker came down to the hospital with an abdominal hernia a few hours before the fight and their fight was eliminated.

Gastelum attended the UFC 234 tournament, coming up with a championship belt on his shoulder, which, not otherwise, borrowed from his friend Henry Cejudo. This act caused outrage among many Australian fans and top middleweight Israel Adesanya, who led the tournament with Anderson Silva after Robert pulled out of the fight.

Kelvin Gastelum’s action also came to the attention of former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor, and he, to put it mildly, was not thrilled by what he saw.

"Why is that worm holding the 185lb belt? There are worms crawling on his skin! It was absolutely ludicrous to even consider allowing him to compete. Let alone now walk around the arena shaking our fans hands.
Someone sort this, this instant. And sterilize that belt.
Immediately." - Conor wrote.

As for Cono McGregor's career, it is worth to note that during UFC 234 pre-fight press conference this weekend, UFC boss Dana White informed that he was targeted to book Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone vs. Conor McGregor for the summer after the scandalous Irishman finishes his newly-announced 6-month suspension service by NSAC.
