PAULIE MALIGNAGGI SPAT IN ARTEM LOBOV’S FACE AND HIT HIM WITH A MIC DURING PRESS-CONFERENCE
The conflict between Artem Lobov and Paulie Malignaggi gains momentum and becomes more and more outrageous. The tension degree between these two grows at an exponential rate during every meet.
Yesterday, a press-conference tied to the Bare Knuckle FC 6 event took place in New York. Former world champion Paulie Malignaggi is about to face former UFC fighter and Conor McGregor’s mate Artem Lobov. After tons of sharp words towards one another, the fighters were supposed to face off and that’s where the hell broke loose.

Paulie Malignaggi mentioned Lobov’s record in MMA and repeatedly warned him against perking his finger in him. Lobov kept doing it, so former WBA and IBF champion hit his future opponent’s head with a microphone. The BKFC president David Feldman and his colleagues quickly interrupted but it wasn’t the end of it.
Lobov kept waving his finger in front of Malignaggi’s face, so the other one spat “the Russian Hammer” in the face. In the video, though, we can see that it was BKFC president David Feldman, not Lobov, who was most affected by Malignaggi’s spit.
The bout is set for June 22 at BKFC 6 in Tampa, Florida. For Malignaggi it’s going to be the first bare-knuckle fight, while Lobov already has one such fight within BKFC. On April 6, he participated in the main bout of Bare Knuckle FC 5 against former UFC fighter Jason Knight and gave him one of the bloodiest and cruelest beatings for the past few years. Lobov won by unanimous decision.
