THE COURT DROPS CHARGES AGAINST CONOR MCGREGOR FOR BREAKING FAN’S PHONE

This March notorious Irishman Conor McGregor (21-4) found himself in a sticky situation. Again. Former UFC champion in two weight divisions was walking out of the Miami nightclub when he met his fan Ahmed Abdirzak who desperately wanted a selfie with the fighter.

McGregor punched the phone out of the fan’s hands, then completely broke it by repeatedly stamping on it. After that McGregor took the broken phone and walked away with it. The same day the Irishman was arrested by the Miami police on charges of insulting behavior, violent robbery, and property damage.

During yesterday’s hearing, the prosecutor Halil Madani confirmed that Conor McGregor was dropped of all charges on the case because:

“The complainant in the case doesn’t want to come back to the USA to continue the procedure.”

Ahmed Abdirzak tried to seek $1000 for the broken phone and $15,000 for non-pecuniary damage. UFC president Dana White must soon meet McGregor in Los-Angeles to discuss his future. Rumors have been circulating lately that McGregor may face Donald Cerrone in July.
